Specializing in the creation of speculative life forms, Lisa digitally sculpts intricate models inspired by synthetic biology, soft robotics and material ecology. Her artwork employs conceptual forms to prompt contemplation on the broader implications of our design choices and elicit emotional responses to the possibilities that exist beyond the familiar touchstones of life. Lisa's work encourages embracing new forms of intelligence and prioritizing ecological considerations in the creation of life. Her digital sculpts are often realized as small-scale sculptures, 3D printed using SLM aluminum.
